Tank Site remediation Program
Municipalities and owners of small retail gas stations with potential contamination from underground petroleum storage tanks may be eligible for funding under a $50 million remediation program.
Eligibility and funding
Eligible sites must have had a tank that was installed prior to the Alberta Fire Code amendments of September 1, 1992.

New site applications will be reviewed for eligibility and availability of funds in the order they are received, and all applicants will be informed by mail of the outcome of this review.
