Edmonton Metropolitan Region Board

The Edmonton Metropolitan Region Board consists of representatives from 13 municipalities mandated to develop a long term plan for managing growth in the Edmonton region. The board was established October 2017.

The Edmonton Metropolitan Region Board replaces the former growth management board in Edmonton, known as the Capital Region Board. As part of this change, the Edmonton Metropolitan Region Board has a smaller membership of 13 municipalities, down from 24 members in the Capital Region Board.
